I have four others and all of them can do the simple stuff. Plus some pretty neet other things that chrome refuses to do. Like cut the advertising!

I only have this problem with Google.com on Chrome on my [i]phone[/i]. At home on my computer, I can right click and open the image in a new tab, and then see the URL.
Duckduckgo's website on my phone allows me to get the URL.

@JoyfulSilence you can get any android browser you want on your phone though. All are available on playstore.
The reason why you are having problems with chrome on your cellphone is they are tracking you everywhere you go.
Desktops they don't need to track. They don't go anywhere. The sites want know who is receiving their images and their locations. Not just Google.
