@NeuroticByNature Samsung uses the Android OS source code which is free and written by Google. Google gives the android code away for free to any smart phone manufacturer so the only way to make money from the OS Is to load it with annoying adverts.
If you don’t want annoying adverts everytime you install a “security” update get an iPhone.

@SomeMichGuy Samsung wants your money anyway they can get it. If they have to harvest and sell your personal information to get that cash, they will.
