What is good about using stock ui android?

Mostly for being faster. Back then, Android skins were hated, especially on really old devices, for being very slow and bloated. Phones with stock Android have far less bloatware than those running crap like One UI, MIUI, or even HTC Sense. One of them, Hauwei's even has a very dumb name, EMUI, which is short for Emotion User Interface, which we all know is something to never name software after. Even when they don't come with crapware taking up valuable storage, the skin itself, if it actually comes with its own UI, still bogs down the hardware as it actually now has to exist alongside the stock Android UI in the custom skin.

I still remember when my first phone had an unqualifying amount of storage and yet it still had the audacity to come with social media apps I never use with no way to uninstall them. It gets even worse as nowadays, I find Android skins will from time to time, install apps you never chose to install without your knowledge.

@X6900ES And don't even get me started on the ones that remove features present in stock Android, sometimes older features added way earlier into Android that the manufacturer insists on removing anyway, despite running a later version of Android.

I forgot to mention, it it also the reason why your phone will not get the very latest version of Android as it comes out, which nowadays, is less of a concern as with modern Android versions, we aren't as excited over the new features being added and are instead worried about how the next version will screw things up even worse than before. It is still the main reason why the latest version of Android always has such a slow adoption rate, as manufacturers need to customize each new version with their skins and crappy bloatware.
