If OLED irritates my eyes in dark mode for viewing bright elements, would it be preferred to stick with IPS for a desktop monitor?

Currently for my phone, OLED's properties result in that phenomena bothering the hell out of me, whereas for IPS LCD it only bothers me if the bright elements are medium sized (not too big nor small). I suffer from DES so obviously that's why this is happening to me, and under ideal conditions where DES doesn't flare up yeah I don't get bothered at all by this. Would going for a future monitor with matte finish for OLED remove this phenomena, or it'd happen as it currently does for my glossy panel for my phone? I do admire the color accuracy and lower response times of OLED, but if the infinite contrast is irritating me (alongside PWM and fake RGB, but higher quality panels eliminate these), wouldn't it be better for me to avoid it and stick with IPS?
