How often do you upgrade your phone?

About four years. This time around has been less than 3. The battery in the S22 samsung balloon up and had to get a upgrade early.

I only buy a new smartphone when the old one is broken beyond repair.
I don't really like smartphones or tablets.
I only like my laptop, but of course I need a smartphone too for when I go out.
