My IPad bit the dust…

I went to the Apple Store to see if it could be restored. To my distress, it couldn’t be, but they offered a replacement for $300, which I did accept, and it will arrive next Tuesday.

Meantime, I "SW" via my phone. I was thinking, 30 years ago, I was a functioning adult who didn’t even own a cell phone or laptop. The only computer I ever used was at work—for work—and I got along just fine. 🤨

I haven't had any landline hookups in any of my places since 2006. Next year will be twenty years without one.

@DeWayfarer I had one that I used for DSL, exclusively for my computer. Now I have a different type of modem

@bijouxbroussard I am strictly on my cellphone! No Internet connection. And that has as well been since 2006.

I don't even have cable TV. That's antenna. Must admit there was a cable hookup in my last place. I never used it though. There is not even a cable hookup in this apartment.

@DeWayfarer I couldn’t do that. I like TV. But I did get rid of cable, and streaming has been sufficient for me.
