Portable one - a basic DORO.
Landline - a Cable & Wireless CWP200. It's probably 20 - 30 years old.
I don't believe in replacing pefectly good equipment unless necessary, and I may need to:
I'm told I will need replace the DORO fairly soon as the 3G service is ending but I don't know if it will in fact still work just as a 'phone & text instrument as it's not linked to the Internet. It might not send or accept the texts.
The C&W? I don't yet know. My broadband service is being replaced by full-fibre very soon, in which the telephone's electricity will be from the house mains via the modem, instead of from the telephone system.
