I'm going to have to get a new one soon. I could either go pre-owned again with another S9 or go higher. I like the S9 because they still make quality glass screen shields for them. I tend to drop my phone a lot.

If you have anything higher than s9, how do you like it?

Meeee. I have Samsung A52s 5G
Which is ironically better in specs than the newer model A53.

I'm very happy! Of course it depends what you use your phone for though. If you only use it to be on social media's then you can get one to a cheaper price.

A52S 5G is perfect for us "heavy users" who play online games, who takes thousand nature photos, who online stream and so on. We use it as a computer so the phone needs specs like a computer.

They make this for all Samsung models at least the ones made 2019-2023.

The glass on the screens is called Gorilla glass. But depending on which model. Gorilla glass 4,5,6 etc. It's stronger or weaker than the latest gorilla glass.

The absolute latest Gorilla glass 6, survived a 15 meter drop.

But. I drop my phone several times a day and I have a phone shell with raised edges around the screen so if my phone fall flat screen to the floor. The only thing touching the floor is my phone shell. Sorry for my horrendous English in describing it. Here's a photo instead:

@Queendragonfly I need tempered glass or something that is just as efficient. I drop my phone enough to realize the screen shields are more protective than the actual gorilla glass.

I'm not willing to try it without a screen shield. I'd break it.

I guess, if all else fails, I could use my memory instead of my fingerprint.
