Is it time for Google to annoy IPhone users?

I think it may even be past time, honestly, if Google et al are serious about RCS.

Apple is really good about putting out good products and protecting them, and it seems like it's about time for their users to see a downside to Apple's approach with iMessage.

Blackberry messaging, like IMessage had some real pluses, but, imo, Apple should have to work harder to promote proprietary technology than its been doing.

Apple wants everyone go buy their $1200 phone instead of a $200 android. Android is way ahead of Apple on easy to use software. Apple products are always overly complicated.
Open standards are good!!

Walled gardens suck!!!

I'm glad to see that Europe is forcing Apple to use USB-C. Apple "lightning" is stuck at 0.48Gbs while even the crappiest USB-C devices communicate at 5Gbs and some up to 40Gbs. USB-C can also charge at up to 240W while Apple Lightning seems to peak at 30W.
@ElwoodBlues I've trained you well, my padawan. Go forth and critique the disgusting waste of money that apple is.

I've been tearing into the Shit speeds on lightning cables for a while.

iPone users also want to see Apple move to the standard everyone else moved to, but doing so means that Windows can now add a messaging desktop app, that can display all your SMS messages, and you don't need an Apple device for that.

That's been an ongoing debate for a while. Google is being Google. 😂

Loves my google phone.....😷
@RedBaron Lol. It's not earth shattering, but it is annoying how iphones communicate so poorly with Android devices without a third party app.

I've got about a half dozen of those apps on my Android phone, but they're a pain.
