I hope my new phone works with my service provider which is att

Like I already checked the compatibility online before I bought the phone so it should work fine, but still. Because I just bought a cheaper phone online and I did the same thing I went online and checked if it was compatible with att and I can't make phone calls with that one either so I hope that doesn't happen with this one too
