I guess they get the idea from the script they are working from.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

@Eddiesolds they don’t care, they go to school and call it a college to learn how to scam. Reading from scripts, telling me I can get my credit cards refinanced at a lower interest rate, or that someone has used my Amazon card, or my car warranty has expired. Ploys to get into credit or banking accounts or computers and drain them. Some of them have scammed elderly people out of ten thousand or more dollars, it’s heartbreaking. There is a very talented You Tuber who’s grandmother got scammed and she started messing with the scammers and recording the calls. She can change her voice to sound like an elderly southern woman or Alexa or Siri or whatever. There are other You Tubers that know how to use a “virtual computer” and then while the scammer is trying to hack the virtual computer the You Tuber is hacking the scam center’s computers, sometimes downloading everything for evidence to give to the police or deleting all their files or unleashing a computer virus on the entire call center.
@Eddiesolds I agree but sadly they don't.

@NotSureAboutMyUserName I think they have retired “Your computer has a virus” scam and the “Your computer’s annual warranty has expired” scam. They played those to the hilt. But they keep coming up with new ones such as “You’ve won a resort vacation, everything paid” but mostly after the covid mandates were over….they knew people were chomping at the bit to go on vacation.
