Today would’ve been my dog’s 9th birthday

Adelina sent me that photo of Ulysses this morning she took some time ago. I’ve never seen it before. It’s a great one that shows off just how funny and cute he was. I plan on going to her place to see where she keeps his ashes on the little shrine she made for him.

Not a day goes by where I don’t miss him and don’t regret having had more time with him, wishing we could’ve saved him. But I’ll try not to be too sad and just look back on all the happy memories I have of him and thankful that we were able to have such a good and sweet dog.
