I saw a lady in the store the other day

That had bought one of our puppies (first litter) i asked her if she still had it because last i saw her she complained so much about it and like wanted to return the dog.. so i didn't know if she had kept it or not (some other friend of the family had bought one of the puppies and then got rid of it.. so i wasn't too happy with that..) and others got several for free and didn't keep any of them.. 😐 so i really didn't know.. but she said yes she still had her and then she scrolled in her phone for a photo.. she couldn't find one but you could tell she was happy talking about her .. and i was happy she was happy (and obviously adored the dog) so after she walked away or i walked away i started crying idk why .. had to dry my eyes several times.. i know to other people they are just dogs but to me (and i just realized i never called my grandfather) to me they are my babies’ babies and therefore my grand babies 😒

And it’s nice to know that at least someone didn't get rid of them and is still happily taking care of one 🥹😭

Actually i have another friend that did keep one and also one of her friend too.. so.. but i had worried for a long time about that one..

So i guess it was a relief

I know what you mean! I had the most difficult time giving MY kittens to other people. I LOVED having 17 cats at one time.😆😹 A couple times I lied to people and claimed I couldn't catch one... because I didn't like them!
Most of them went in pairs, to people I had a good feeling about.

@UnderLockDown i had 20 super beautiful cats once but my brother sold them.. sigh my mom had 40 once (cause they have so many kittens) outdoor cats..

I was breeding Corgis for a few years and the puppies grow on you. I still have four three years later from one litter of 6 that I bottle fed from birth. But I need to rehome them. But these adoptive parents, my customers , were on my waiting list and paid good money, so they wanted them.

@rfatoday ours had three litters 5, 4, & 6 pups each (15 total) but my hub didn't let me keep any of them.. ours are a yorkie mix.. but the mother’s mother was a maltase/shitzu mix and her father was a purebred yorkie .. our other dog is allegedly a yorkie but i find it questionable as he looks a bit like a schnauzer sometimes imo 😏
