If you were an animal, which one would you like to be and why?

When I was a child, I read most all the books available about horses. I would keep my eye on the stallion who barely ate or drank himself. He was the protector of the herd. The wild herds amazed me as I was able to believe my own mind that urged them forward and on to safety.
Yes I agree a bird would be nice too. Although my current preference is Human. I'll let them be free for me to watch another day.

Any animal that hibernates in winter. Wish humans could do that.

A tigress. I would be sleek and powerful and be protected by the king of the jungle.
