Well, if you did you could always train the dog to respond to the German pronunciation of "Shark" which is "Hai'" pronounce "Hey", problem solved!
I bet when the first German fell off a ship or into the Black Sea and was eaten by a shark is how the Germans came up with "Hai", Just imagine the first time you see a shark coming at your ship mate and you're screaming "Hey" while pointing at the shark, then the attack happens, and everyone who never saw a shark before asks what was it that ate Fritz and the guys around you say it was a "Hey" "Hai'"! and viola the German name given a shark. LOL
