Do Raccoons Get In Your Trash Can?

@Watching My aunt used to set a large trash bag of trash on her deck. She lived in a rural area and didn’t want to take the trash down the driveway (equivalent to 2 blocks) in the dark. She’d wake up and find the trash bag torn open and trash scattered all over the deck. Told her I’d take care of the problem and poured cayenne pepper in the bag that evening. It was the last time a bag of trash got torn open on her deck.
