Back on Reddit, there was always kind of a norm that the poster of a thread should never interact too much with the commenters -- no more than like half the people who reply. While this place definitely has its fair share of differences to Reddit, I always thought that made sense because it allows conversations to develope and grow naturally without people feeling like OP was steering everything.

It beats me, but I've noticed some people doing that too. It makes me reluctant to answer and have unfollowed people for that.

@SW-User people who don't answer comments on their own posts are unlikely to comment on other posts, so the mute button is a very effective tool against them.

Honestly I’ll write something then start interacting with others on their stuff & mean to go back to my own post to reply then forget for four days. 🤷🏽♀️
