Imagine waking up with him staring you down...

@SooperSarah "In this town, crime doesn't play."

@Longpatrol He could bite the butts of criminals.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
That bite would carbonize their hiney@cherokeepatti

@Longpatrol Those dogs tend to not let go.

@SooperSarah I live with three American Bullies (what this dog is — imagine a bunch of different types of bulldogs mixed together) and one American Pit Bull Terrier, and they're all big soft babies. Don't let their looks fool you

@BigAssLeech pitbulls are the most butter species of dog. They just melt if you raise them right and with love
@BigAssLeech I wanna get a pittie some day. Right now my coonhound is all the doggy I need in my life.
BigAssLeech · 31-35, M
@Longpatrol Even ones who aren't raised right or with love are inclined to learn to forgive more than other breeds, I've found. Been doing rescue and rehab for 11 years and I've fostered dogs rescued from fighting rings who learned to love again and become therapy dogs. They're just the best

Sadly pitbulls aren't allowed in my country but if I ever to get a dog, that'd be the one. I'll have to remain satisfied with assassin cat@SooperSarah
@BigAssLeech when I was in the market for a new vet I asked the vet, who is my current vet, for her opinion on pitties. She said she doesn't think any one breed should be singled out and misjudged the way they are. She also said, much to my surprise at the time, that chihuahuas and dachshunds show aggression more than other breeds. But for some reason it's cute when they do it.
@Longpatrol I have two cats that keep life very interesting lol

@SooperSarah there was a pack of dachshunds & half-dachshunds in Oklahoma that were running loose and they attacked a woman and killed her. I don’t know if they came from a puppy mill that had let them loose or what. True story and it happened a few years ago. Dachshunds were used for hunting dogs in Germany.

@cherokeepatti damn, what's that movie where these critters were cute but they were insanely murderous? From the 80's
BigAssLeech · 31-35, M
@SooperSarah Small breeds definitely are allowed to get away with worse behavior. People who don't know much about dog psychology or training are more inclined to go for something small and cute rather than large and loud, and then they don't treat them like dogs. They treat them as accessories or a cute teddy bear, not a living thing who needs guidance. And with the rising popularity of "doodle" breeds under the misconception that they're easy to care for and inherently friendly no matter what, those are becoming an issue now too. It's sad. People ruin everything.
@cherokeepatti that's nuts. I can't imagine being taken out my dogs like that... that's so sad ):
