Sorry, but unlike dogs, your cat will never really love you

It’s just not in their DNA. If you’re lucky your cat likes you. You can like cats better for various reasons (lower maintenance, etc.) but don’t you ever tell me they make better companions. Dogs actually love you back.

I had an orange cat that went wherever I went all day, bathroom, kitchen, living room and back never left my side. And when I sat down he would jump in my lap, he wanted to sit on my lap all day or on my book or computer. I went to work one day and he followed me behind my car I guess and was hit by another car. He was the best cat ever. We called him Fin.

@Carazaa okay, so he must’ve liked you a lot. Doesn’t begin to compare to the love and loyalty of a dog tho

@Zeuro When I went away for a day my cat would give me the cold shoulders and wouldn't talk to me for a day after I returned. My dog loves me too! Yes dogs are loyal. But I do believe cats love too.

@Carazaa if you’re look into the science they really don’t. Fact if they were big enough they’d literally kill you

@Zeuro I don't believe that. Cats love to snuggle with people. I walk down the street and cats come up and purr and beg to be petted. I have owned many cats, and many dogs. There are many breeds of both and it all depends how you develop the relationship and how you talk to them and some are naturally more cuddly than others Orange cats are the cuddliests. They think they are puppies, they love to hug, and kiss you all day.
