@Nathan7474: They're not really common were I live so whenever I see one in the wild it's a thrill. My mom had a pet fox when she was a kid. Said he was like a dog...except for the smell.

People sometimes keep domesticated foxes but usually it's people who live on farms or out in the countryside. They're not cute though. Cute things are fucking disgusting.

It's illegal in my state (California) But they are cute, especially Fennec foxes.

@NigelDoes: I agree. It's an unfortunate thing that some people think every animal should be available as a "pet". I like that our state discourages that, although people keep illegal pets anyway.
