Sadly, no I've not seen any since I've been back living Florida. When I was a child living here, they often lit up the early evening. I found them delightful...almost magical. I call them both, but usually fireflies.
@DrWatson They are still in Florida in certain areas and times of year, I've heard. I'm guessing it's those places, where pesticides are not 'freely' used.
