@rckt148 I disagree. Smudge and Riff took excellent care of me when I broke several ribs. They snuggled up with me on the couch and made sure I wouldn't move. Cause there's nothing to be done for broken ribs but rest.

@Cavedweller I have had many ribs broken ,,but when you're back fails and you are crippled for a year ,can't even walk to the bath room
I switched from a Siberian shepherd to gold fish
My dog needed someone to care for him too ,,feed him ,let him out
I was unable to do that ,,I had to get rid of him
hardest thing I ever had to do as far as a pet goes
Broken ribs and not able to walk at all ,,not the same thing
