Is your dog/cat allowed to enter your house?

Yesterday I saw several people shaming a woman who said that her dogs are not allowed to enter her house. Your thoughts?

I think it depends on the environment. In Ohio we had "outside dogs" all the time. Here in Florida, I couldn't imagine forcing them to stay outside on a hundred degree day. Especially a long hair breed.
