Is your dog/cat allowed to enter your house?

Yesterday I saw several people shaming a woman who said that her dogs are not allowed to enter her house. Your thoughts?

In our area, it is considered to be animal cruelty to force a dog or cat to stay outside on hot summer days with temps near 100.

@exexec That's reasonable. They are not animals that are adapted to such temperatures. Or maybe...I'm not sure, there were stray cats in Greece who looked fine.
