What are your thoughts on people who enforce their vegan diets on their pets?

Should it or would it be considered a form of animal abuse? Can a carnivorous animal like a dog or a cat really live a long and healthy life while living on nothing but rabbit food? Wouldn't these animals be dangerously underweight or weak and listless on such a diet? I don't know much about the effects of a vegan diet on animals but that shit just don't sound right...
I consider that against the vegan lifestyle. The lifestyle aims to promote little to no human impact on the nature world. Even owning pets can be considered exploitation for human companionship and entertainment. But barring that the vegan lifestyle is one of consent. You come to it of your own free will. Animals can not consent.
It's ridiculous!
Cats are obligate carnivores they wouldn't be able to survive on a vegan diet they require taurine.
@MrBlueGuy That's it! Meat and fish... oh, and they are so, so choosy!!
@EugenieLaBorgia Yeah but one thing they don't choose is broccoli.

@Peaceful :( Cruelty-free, my ass. You want a vegan pet get a damn rabbit, not a fox. Poor Jumanji. If they haven't taken him away from Sonia by now, I'd hope that poor little thing has died by now because he looks absolutely miserable.
I didn't know people did that to their pets.

@quitwhendone Oh yeah, it's a thing. That is not to say that all vegans enforce a vegan diet on their pets... but some do. There is even a Facebook group of people who claim to be raising vegan cats. It's got over 8,000 members. So yeah, some people are doing that.
@deadmoon I think cats and dogs naturally like meat.
