I will never understand why people like these animals.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick Dogs are so wonderful. They love you unconditionally, they are part of the family.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa No they do not "love you unconditionally." Stop feeding your dog, and that "love" disappears very quickly.

Which is a good thing. A pet SHOULD turn on its owner if they become neglected or abused. But there's nothing at all "wonderful" about them. Smelly, loud, unintelligent, they eat their own feces, they piss on everything, shed, mark their territory with scent glands, noisy, want constant attention. They're just fucking awful.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick Well that's your opinion. But I have had dogs my whole life and I disagree. I love my dog so much. If you love them they are easily trained. Mine isn't noicy at all, and he smells like shampoo, he keeps me company and sits by me all day, I walk him every day and he gets so excited when its walk time he jumps for joy. He loves car rides too. If we love our dogs and play with them everyday, and walk them, and talk to them like people they will not have anxiety and bark and bite etc. Mine is very calm and cuddly.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa No it is not my opinion that dogs will break their loyalty if you abuse or neglect them. That's based upon fact, not opinion.

"He gets so excited when it's walk time he jumps for joy."
Another reason I hate dogs. Excitable and stupid. Quit jumping all over me, fucking vermin.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick My dog never jumps on people. He is very respectful. It is important when training dogs to give them praises and treats when they do good things and then they learn fast. It upsets me when people don't train their dogs and they yell or hit their dogs, or leave them in the backyard by themselves all the time. That's terrible.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa You just told me he jumps around when you walk him. Now you're telling me he doesn't? Which is it?

Dogs are working animals. They're bred to perform tasks like hunting, drawing sleds, herding livestock, or sniffing out certain hazards. They're good at these things and they're happiest, healthiest, and develop the most intelligence when they're raised to perform these tasks. They make terrible pets. The lack of stimulation for their intended role in relation to humans makes them incredibly stupid and they do shit like, pictured here, jumping into buckets of water.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick When I say "do you want to go for a walk"? He gets so excited that he jumps up and down in the living room waiting for me to get my leash. When we walk he is nicely and calmly walking by me. I never have a problem with him at all. He is so gentle and sweet.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa Thanks for proving the point I already made. I don't want an an animal jumping around in my living room.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick If you love your dog you can train them to do anything you want. He does exactly what I want him to do. I have no problem with him being happy and jumping. He doesn't jump on furniture or people. Dogs just want to please their owners. They feel even more love than humans do. They get excited, and they can get depressed grieving a loved one too so its so important to love them and talk to them. They understand what you are saying.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa They do not "feel more love than a human does." Dogs are not sentient animals and therefore they don't experience love at all. They act on instinct. If you treat them good, they will do the same to you. That's not loving.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick There you are wrong. They love more than we do, and miss people very much. They get depressed and anxious just like people, even more research has found. Their emotional part of their brain is much bigger than humans and they feel even more than us.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa No they do not love more than we do. Dogs are not sentient animals and therefore they don't experience love at all.

That bit about the "emotional part of their brains" was completely made up. You made that up yourself. No part of a dog's brain is larger or more developed than that of a human's.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick I keep up with research, so what I said is true. I did not make that up.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa Saying something that you fabricated on the spot is not "keeping up with research." That's called bullshitting.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick I can copy plenty of articles on how dogs love and feel emotions.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa Dogs feeling emotion is obvious. Of course they feel emotion. That's not what we're arguing about. You said dogs have a larger and more complex "emotional part of their brains" than people do. That's simply not true.
Carazaa · F
Dogs emotional center of the brain is bigger than humans. They feel more than us. Here is just one article.

@BlueMetalChick https://www.mic.com/articles/104474/brain-scans-reveal-what-dogs-really-think-of-us
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Carazaa Oh look at that, neither article says dogs have a larger, more complex, or better developed sense of emotion than humans.

I get that you're new to this whole "using sources to provide evidence" thing, so here's a tip for next time. Your source is supposed to actually support your claim.
Carazaa · F
@BlueMetalChick The part of the brain in humans and dogs that Control our emotions is called the amygdala. This part is bigger in dogs relative to their Brains than humans amygdala. When people have a small amygdala they dont feel fear, and the same in dogs. But dogs have a lot of fear because their amygdala is so large. That is why some Believe that dogs have more intense love, fear, and jealousy than humans on the average.
