No...not if they're ran properly (and I'm sure some will argue that they're are none that are). If people support major ones as opposed to petting zoos or roadside attractions (malls!)..the research they do is invaluable. Sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Funny how people get their nose out of whack over zoos but it's ok to "big game hunt"..ie pay someone to sneak up an a wild animal and blow it's brains out....sorry, just an opin.
