I miss my pigs. Svetlana takes good care of them and she really loves them too but I still miss them a lot.

@MarmeeMarch Occasionally, but not often. I like pork chops but other than that, most forms of pork meat just doesn't taste that good to me.

@BlueMetalChick I haven't had a pork chop since I was a kid. My mom used to fry them in an iron pan that she had.

@MarmeeMarch I will still eat the meat of animals I keep as pets. I wouldn't eat MY pig, but I will eat a pig. Although to be honest, most of the animals I've kept for companionship are not safe to eat, so I guess not always. Eating bat meat, for example, is an excellent way to contract SARS.

@MarmeeMarch I do own a snake. Although snake meat tastes HORRIBLE. It's like chewing on a wet condom. I'd never eat snake purely because of how awful the flavor and texture is.

@MarmeeMarch Yes, actually, and not for the reasons you might think. One time I stepped on a nail and my sister had to pull it out of my foot with a pair of channel locks. I needed something to bite on or else I might have gotten my tongue, but she had nothing in her pockets other than few hairpins and an out-of-date condom. So I bit down on it, through the foil packaging and everything.
