Whats the strangest animal you can think of?

Why is it strange to you?

Praya dubia is a 100 foot siphonophore that lives near the bottom of the ocean. It is transparent, bioluminescent, fairly fragile, and squishy. Each little segment of its body -- of which there are innumerable -- is its own little organism, specialized to operate as part of this continuous body. Oh, and it can barely move on its own, so it sort of just drifts around in ocean currents, hoping a very unlucky little creature meanders into its tentacles. Scientists know little about them, since they can't be taken to the surface without first bursting from lack of pressure.

Also, it's name means, "doubtful prayer," which I think we all can agree is creepy as fuck.

Sloth
In a tree it's very fluid moving, but on the ground it moves like it has cerebral palsy.

@RenaissanceMan not really moving that fast, also it takes them a week to do a shit.
@SW-User yes,and it's a nice docile creature. Interesting.
SW-User
@RenaissanceMan I was watching a programme with my kids last week about these sloth guys, they only eat one type of leaf also..and they chew it really slowly obviously, they're very unusual animals for sure

A cat who lived with a neighbour had an extra toe on it's front paws, looked like he was wearing boxing gloves. Don't know what his name was but I used to call him Bigfoot.
SW-User
An armadillo. It looks like an armored rodent to me🤷🏻‍♀️

I even feel badly for being icked out by it but I am 🤷🏻‍♀️@bijouxbroussard
@SW-User I used to see them in Louisiana. A elderly relative once told me long ago to stay away from them; they’re not mean but some carry leprosy. I’d always thought that was an old wives’ tale. But I just googled it and it’s a fact. 😱
SW-User
Ugh. Listens to you and avoids them like the plague! Lol@bijouxbroussard

Dogs. There's no other animal that can either be nearly the size of a human, or practically a rat.
