When I leave home in the morning the first thing i do is to feed the birds in my garden.I love seeing them fly I in front of me,knowing what I have for them.And I continue feeding the birds,especially crows,wherever I go from that point,until I get home again.
@pedrohedgerow they do recognise you for sure. When you put food down too, they are clever enough to peck up lots, unlike other birds who take a little and when they return it's all gone.
@pedrohedgerow they probably look at me and say "here comes that miserable woman with the reduced bread again". The robin likes meat or worms, but if he's starving he'll eat the multigrain bread.
