Hard. He was incredibly a 19 year old Corgi. Clancy.
Sweetest temper, best manners, gentlest heart. My daughter said, "Clancy is never not in a good mood."
He was old and sick and tired. I couldn't claim it would be loving to keep him longer.
Over it? Can't answer that except that was April and this is December and not yet. Few tears anymore, but still a Clancy-shaped hole in our lives. Miss you, Clanc.
I have 2 dogs now that are around 16 years old. They are poop and peeing machines. We put them outside every 20 minutes or so all day long unless they are sleeping, which is most of the time. My Mom is struggling with the thought of putting them down. It’s her call ultimately.
Its always difficult but that's what we do for them, we hurt so they dont have to hurt anymore. Its easier when they're older and have lived a long life, not as easy when they're very young.
