I need advice.

I'm slowly getting Riff the kitten accustomed to going outside. When I first let her go in the courtyard she made a scramble for freedom and I nearly lost her.
So now I carry her in my arms. We sit and enjoy the springtime sun and air.
My question is do I let her discover on her own (which I don't feel good about ) and hope she'll come back?

The more you try to protect her the more she will want to run and the less likely she will know how to protect herself.
I started my cats on leashes, I only did it for a few days before they sussed out their environment

@Cavedweller you can get harnesses so they hold the whole kitty and not just their neck
