I need advice.

I'm slowly getting Riff the kitten accustomed to going outside. When I first let her go in the courtyard she made a scramble for freedom and I nearly lost her.
So now I carry her in my arms. We sit and enjoy the springtime sun and air.
My question is do I let her discover on her own (which I don't feel good about ) and hope she'll come back?

A few people have lost their cats

@Love4All That's what I'm trying to avoid. I have an older cat who's fine as an indoor/outdoor cat. I want Riff to be the same.

@Cavedweller how did your other cat become an outdoor cat?

@Love4All After years of living indoors (we lived on a busy road ) she finally got the chance to see the outside world when we moved. She just naturally took to it. Didn't try to run away.

@Cavedweller interesting, I’ve never had cats
I just wonder if someone would keep it

@Love4All She IS a terribly good looking cat. And friendly.
