So the countdown begins.

Seven days till I pick up Smudge's kitten from the shelter. It'll be as young as I can get, as to bring out some maternal instinct.
It's kind of a gamble. I hope they'll become fast friends and playmates; I can't bear Smudges crying and howling since her friend was taken from her. I can't be her cat friend. Oh well. Here goes.

I have a new kitten in my family. Cleo, the new cat, who looks like an Egyptian cat who has way too much spunk, at 6 mos old for even me; even though I love it. I've taken him in at once to give my cat a friend but also as it's my ex's Dad's cat and he has cancer. The cat scratches and bites and bites! He can't have that while he is about to go through Chemo again....

So while this works, my cat needs a buddy, and I want to help them. I was sitting on the fence about another cat for awhile! I'm happy I have him now
