My cat is almost 19 now and near the end of her life, hopefully not soon.. so how should I deal with her death?

I have observed responses from putting her in a garbage bag for pick up, cremation, Bury a pet in the back yard, throw in a ditch and taxidermy. So what is the Proper thing to do?

Honor her life. I'm glad you care enough about her to ask this question. Maybe have her cremated, and keep her ashes.
