I love dogs. I am a veterinary student, hopefully leading to a career in shelter medicine. I love behavior as a study as well. It is just fascinating.

I live with working dogs. They are allot calmer, they get fed with real food (no prepacked shit dog food that has allot of salt/preservatives)
They get their running every second day.
We are lucky not to have the little screaming mad dogs - these poor ones land up in dog shelters.
Read up on Ted Kerasote - he has help fund the program "My Co-Pilot" they fly shelter dogs to homes around the USA, this way, less have to be put down.
Ted wrote this book "Merle's Door" then "Why do dogs die so young" he researches our history with working dogs.
