Dog going to vet
This day will be a big test for me.
A few years ago, my dog had a cyst on her nose that the vet wasn’t sure if it was cancer. I went through so many tests and ended up being referred and she had a ct scan and surgery. It wasn’t cancer thankfully but the cost eventually led me to bankrupt.
Well today I decided to call the vet. I want three things done. 1. Feel her all over for anything concerning. 2. Check for diabetes (she’s overweight) and 3. An X-ray of her tracheal collapse to see how bad it is
They quoted me at 500 which I’m going to be paying by eating nothing basically. I hardly eat anymore anyways. But I’m terrified that something will come back badly.
Usually I’d drink to cope but I’m over 6 months sober and I’m learning how to cope without it. Let me tell you, it is difficult.
