I remember a job I was on. I was chopping weeds and there were about 3 different occasions where I ran into a lizard just laying there. Typically a lizard will just run if you approach. I tried shoeing them away and they wouldn't even move. I literally had to pick these wild animals up and put them somewhere out of the way to finish my work. I've never seen animals behave like that before or since. I have no explanation for it, it wasn't cold so they weren't stiff or anything so the couldn't move. It was just an ordinary day.
