Senior dog

So I have a 17 year old small dog. He's most Chihuahua but he's not a purebred.
He's in heart failure. He has mostly good days but a few bad. He's on 4 meds to help with the issue. But I wonder if there is any I could be doing at home to help keep him happy and healthy. What have you guys done to help your senior pups?

if you've gotten medicine for pup then i suspect your vet has told you everything you can do to make things easier for them. all he wants is your love

you should consider r/chihuahua on reddit. the people on it love their dogs and would love nothing more than to offer advice and support on yours
