For us dog people: If you were dating someone and your dog did not like the person, what would you do?

I would work with them both to change that. But if my dog didn't like someone I'd say that's a 'me' problem for not socializing the dog properly. But if a person I liked didn't like dogs I might reevaluate my feelings about that person.
