My mom’s chihuahua

Was scream-barking her head off outside, clearly in distress. I walked out to see what was wrong, thinking she got hurt.

No. The gate was left open. Someone across the street is outside in her yard, and the. Gate. Was. Left. Open.

We’re all in danger.

So I closed it. Good grief. Now she can be quiet and do her business, and get back inside.

Yeah, I miss my Chihuahua Lacey. She was the most behaved Chihuahua I have ever seen. I could take her on walks no problem.

@UnderLockDown I always tell her to be quiet because she’s alerting everything she exists and will get eaten. 😬
When she was a puppy, I was scared a hawk would get her. She’s only just big enough nowadays that they likely won’t go for her, but coyotes probably would.
I miss my dog, a pitbull who would secretly and quietly watch the people across the street like some nosy old lady. 🤭
