I lost my dog to Cancer

I just lost my 4 year old German Shepherd to a cancer called Hemangiosarcoma. There were no symptoms at all. Just the other day I noticed her breathing was a bit labored and her heart was racing. I brought her into the vet and they discovered a huge tumor. One hour later, she was gone.

Oh my gosh. I am SO sorry, my friend. So many losses recently...and the shock and unexpected lost of your best friend must be crushing for you.

You have ALL of my sympathy. My brother once told me, when I could NOT recover from the loss of my little girl dog, Sugar, that they only way to recover is to get another dog. They can never replace your beloved dog, but over time, their antics help to ease the feelings of loss and sorrow.

@4meAndyou I originally bought her because my wife wanted another dog. She was a good one too. Now they're both gone. But I don't think I'll replace the dog any time soon.

@carpediem I'm thinking you should. Keep it in mind after a double loss

@sladejr Thanks. I will certainly keep that in mind.
