Evening, er Morning all! Snickers the Saint Bernard here letting everybody know what a naughty boy I am!
So Aunty spent all afternoon straightening up the house and packing her things for when mommy got home. I thought it was very humorous that she was walking around in socks the whole time. Since I ate all her new sneakers, I guess she didn’t have a choice:
Well apparently mommy was getting close to home so Aunty started putting her stuff by the door. I was hanging out in the hallway when I heard a click. OH NO! THE DOG GATE. I’M LOCKED OUT! Aunty had locked me out of the Kitchen! Well that totally sucked! I went and layed down and pouted:
Aunty disappeared for a few minutes then came back. Its was at that moment my doggy sneaker fetish was REALLY put to the test:
OHBOYOHBOYOHBOY!!!! Mmmmm, my favoritest dessert in the whole world! More brand brand new white leather Reebok sneakers!!!!! She told me that she hid them real good from me and that she was wearing them home. What a lousy trick to play on a big hungry sneaker monster! She walked around and did her thing while I eyed them hungrily. Slobber dribbled all over the floor as I growled and panted and whined and snorted:
I contemplated breaking down the dog gate but then I remembered the last time I did that I was in big big trouble! During my tantrum Aunty asked if there was something that I wanted on the other side of the gate???? More tantrum. Aunty asked if I wanted these??? And held the toes of the Reeboks up to the gate:
What a tease! She was quick and would pull them away before I could get my jowls around them. She wouldn’t even let me have so much as a naughty nibble! She said that she bet I wished she was staying one more night so I could have them for dessert. At that point I heard mommy’s car pull up. Aunty said goodbye and as she was headed out the door to greet mommy she said she hoped I would have sweet dreams and be good and hungry for those new Reeboks the next time she visits. Dammit! I think I am just gonna have to sleep in the shower tonight with the cold water running:
She left her delicious new Reeboks fair game right in the middle of her guest bed. She also said that they will be there for me to enjoy for naughty doggy dessert the next time she doggysits me at her house! Gonna be impossible to get any sleep tonight dreaming about those!
