Puppy got scratched today

For the last week Bruno has shown a real interest in this random black and white cat.
Because he's so strong it can be difficult to pull him away without yanking him.
Once he's got his mind set on something he's really stubborn.
Today we were walking towards my mums and there was that cat lurking in the bushes out it came abd Bruno immediately went to have a sniff.
I pulled the leash taut but as I went to pull him away he pulled back which scared the cat. And it struck him right across his face.
He started bleeding immediately.
I tried to wipe his face with a baby wipe but he kept turning his face away. ugh!

His nose was bleeding on the way to my mums...
I used a little diluted dettol to swab the area until we walked back to mine.

He's now resting in bed. But he kept licking the top of his nose! 😔

its itchy when cats scratch, hopefully its just a skin wound and nothing more than that, poor thing, cats will try to attack anything that poses a threat - little jules went after a fox once when I yelped at it by mistake lol - luckily the fox ran away lol

I hope hes ok - don't train him to be stronger, train him to know what dangers are and what to avoid. cats and dogs both pick up on smells. I can assure you I have seen plenty of cats and dogs who are friends.

@Gangstress despite my training he's just pulling on the lead constantly.
Im consistent but he just keeps pulling.
Even at home hes stopped waiting for permission to sit in my lap so I've had to tell him off and make him sit on the floor again.

Give him an inch and he takes the whole 9 yards...
