Sometimes it pays to be the good dog!

Evening all! Been a little while for sure. Just trying to keep my nose clean and all that, but trouble always seems to find me (shrug!). Well, I can’t bark that I mind at all! So it all started last week: Mommy had gotten home from all her travels and unfortunately Aunty had to leave and take all of her delicious new sneakers with her :( Well, the next day Aunty came over and her and Mommy were outside chatting on the back deck. I knew I smelled something yummy and ran downstairs to investigate. I got as far as the sliding door and saw them:


Mmmmmm slurp! Aunty had worn a pair of her yummy white and purple leather Nike sneakers over!!!! But unfortunately for me, they would not let me out to taste them. Hmmph! I whined and pouted and growled and licked the window and covered the glass with bubbly slobber, but nothing seemed to work. Mommy said that Aunty would be over next week to doggysit and if I was good all week, she bet that Aunty would let me eat them. Ok, so do you know how hard it was for a 200 pound dog with a MAJOR sneaker fetish to wait a whole week!!!???:


AND to make matters worse, Aunty called to check up on me mid week to see if I was being a good boy! I chewed my toys all week, just dreaming about those juicy new Nikes:


FINALLY today came! I couldn’t wait any longer and as soon as Aunty came in the house, I chased her down for her chewy new Nikes:


I trapped her in the kitchen and chewed them right off her feet. I was soooooo hungry and frisky for them that I had to eat one right under the kitchen table:


The other I took upstairs to enjoy. Aunty came looking for me but couldn’t find me. Guess where I am???:


Shhhhh!!!! I’m under the blankets on the guest bed! I had Aunty’s new Nike for naughty doggy dessert under the blankets all afternoon:




Mmmmmm soooooo yummy!!!!! LOTS and LOTS of wet slurping and squeaking and panting under there! Well, not sure how long Aunty will be here, so gotta get back to gobbling up her scrumptious new Nikes! So far I have them both chewed and really gooey and filled up with lots of warm slimy Saint Bernard slobber!
