Dog eats same meal 3 times a day, everyday. Never gets bored of it.
I sometimes dogsit for my friend if I am working from home and they are on shift. They give the dog 3 meals a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. (No he isn't overfed, gets same amount of food as if he was fed 2 times a day, just means the meals are smaller portions).
We'll call the dog Boris in honour of the now previous 馃嚞馃嚙 Prime Minister.
What I find funny is that Boris eats the same kibble for all 3 meals, day in, day out. But he never gets bored of it. Each day that I dogsit and give him his lunch, he can't wait to tuck in and he still needs a slow feeder bowl to stop him eating so quickly.
Today I was watching Boris enthusiastically eat his dreary lunch. At one point he looked up at me mid-munch and it started an imaginery conversation between us...
Boris 馃惗: This is a delicious lunch. Thanks Dan!
Me: You're welcome. Wasn't exactly hard to knock up. You know it's the same food as what you had yesterday for lunch? In fact you had exactly the same for breakfast this morning too.
Boris: Really?
Me: Yes. And you'll be having it again for dinner later.
Boris: Yippee! I can't wait!
Me: You can't wait to eat the same food later as what you've got in your mouth right now? Oh Boris.
Anybody else's dog like this?
