Is there a chance that a german shepherd thats a puppy can be socialized to get along with a cat ?

I bought my 11 week old german shepherd home a week ago at 10 weeks old and she barks at my cat but never bites or attacks her and the cat just sits there but sometimes swipes at the dog, google said it could take around 3 weeks for the dog to be cool around the cat what do you all think ?

@RogueLoner did it take awhile for them to get along and how old was your german shepherd when you introduced them ?

@Kobrassky Cat was around 6 or 7, the dog was around 3 or 4.
