Kinda makes me wonder whether you can teach a dog to respect personal space with a command. 🤔

@Classified I use "off". It helps if the dog knows "off" with furniture before you use it in reference to your lap, so they have some idea of what the word means. Similarly, if you don't want the dog near you at all, you can teach "place" which means they will go to a bed or a specific marker in the room and stay there until you release them with a verbal cue like "okay" or "break"
