I Love My Dog More Than Most People

My dog has only one eye since December because of advanced Glaucoma. They had to remove it because the Glaucoma had advanced so badly that it had eaten the entire retina and caused ulcers in the eye.

Now, it appears that the Glaucoma has shifted to his left eye. He also has cataracts, so it’s already tough for him to see. He can only see light and shadows from that eye as it is. I am so heartbroken and scared for him now. He is going to have more loss of appetite and less urge to play. Playtime is a big part of his day, as are walks around the block. I’m so frustrated that I can only do so much as put eye drops in his eye twice daily. I wish there was some kind of miracle to help my poor Gizmo!

Unfortunately there’s not much we can do but delay the growth of the Glaucoma as long as we can. @Northerner
