@CoffeeCat On the plus side, at least it wasn’t a bird. My cat only seems to like mice thank goodness.

@Oneofthestormboys It's very bittersweet when our cats bring us "gifts" isn't it 😂

one of mine left a dead mouse on the bed once
Oh my what did you do ?
Oneofthestormboys · 56-60, M
@cherny It didn’t have a head anymore, so it wasn’t much of a challenge to catch it… 😆
So I picked it up and chucked it into the bin outside. Bleurghhh.

Oh, was the poor thing at least, no longer of this world?

@Egg01 At least. Years ago, my housemate’s cat brought and dropped onto my pillow a mousie he’d just killed.
Except—he hadn’t. 😳
It jumped up and ran off.

To the cat’s credit, he caught it again and took it outside.

@bijouxbroussard Oh dear! I’ve had a few similar experiences with my cats. Because I now live rurally I have had two very good hunters in the last couple of decades and have woken up, to some poor wee creatures in various states, in my house. It’s not nice, but it’s nature and I’m not particularly squeamish. I always thank my cat and wish the wee beastie a better onward journey and a peaceful rest.
A mouse? I thought you were going to say throw up or poop, lol.
